-Photographed at the Rijksmuseum-
The museum of the Netherlands, in Amsterdam. 800 years of Dutch history, with the great Dutch masters as Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh.
I was wondering around this beautiful museum and came upon this wonderful composition of people. The master's work in the background and in the middle ground two spectators viewing intently. The person on the left leaning in to the other person to have quite conversation. In the foreground two people seated near each other going about their daily business viewing a cellphone and reading. I love the way the cellphone eliminates the woman's face while the overhead lighting beams down on the gentleman's reflective head. Also, l love the way the light surrounding them falls into shadows. This Image tells a multitude of stories to the perspective viewer. David Cochran, Light Through Glass.
